In today’s installment of Shakespearean Stick Figure Iconography, we take a look at the key identifying features of Helena (the one from All’s Well That Ends Well, not A Midsummer Night’s Dream.)
There are a lot of plot-significant rings in Shakespeare’s plays, but Helena’s is one of the best.
Time for some more Shakespearean Stick Figure Iconography comics! Let’s start with one of the MOST iconic Shakespearean characters out there…
Not pictured: Strawberries, crutches, ill-gotten crown, dead nephews, etc.
It’s JUST BARELY still March and I’m JUST BARELY still “off”! For one last time, let’s dip into the videos I’ve created for my $10 Patreon supporters. This time it’s a process video of me drawing my one-page summary of Romeo and Juliet.
I use Clip Studio Paint for all my work at the moment.
That does it for “Mya is not technically working but also is very much technically working” March! See you next week with all new Shakespeare comics!
It’s “Mya’s Off” March, and that means it’s time for another dip into the GTB archives. Today’s remastered comic was drawn after a visit to the Stratford Festival, and is a favorite of mine for encapsulating my bittersweet relationship with the theatre.
SO HAPPY *sob*
It’s March! And I’m definitely off working on other projects! But here, courtesy of my wonderful supporters on Patreon, is the classic Shakespearean knock-knock joke:
*runs away*
It’s March Mostly-Off! I've picked another personal favorite comic of mine from the archives and have remastered it here in all its high-definition* glory.
*may not actually be high definitiion
Anyways! Here’s Castor the Friendly Ghost!
I’m so easily amused.
It’s March and I’m still supposedly “off”, but tomorrow is the IDES OF MARCH, and I can’t let that pass without comment. Celebrate (?) the Ides with a quick dry-erase re-telling of Julius Caesar!
This video (and many others like it) was drawn for my super-awesome $10 supporters on Patreon. Thanks to ALL my Patreon supporters, from $1 to $10, for making it easier for me to work full-time on Good Tickle Brain. I appreciate all of you so much.
